Types

Holotype:

• Immature female, 11 miles East of Hale River, Simpson Desert [23°13’S, 134°24’E, Northern Territory], Simpson Desert Expedition 1939, coll. 549 (Australian Museum KS6597) (pers. observation).

Identification

Total length (of the immature female) 20 mm. Carapace yellowish brown. Abdomen light brown speckled with black, the small black spots forming six transverse bands (Hickman, 1944).

Distribution

Known from type locality only, Hale River (Northern Territory).
