Alopecosa leonhardii (Strand, 1913)


NB: The detailed species description by Strand (1913) suggests a synonymy of A. leonhardii with Alopecosa madigani (Hickman, 1944).

Indentification

Strand (1913c) did not provide illustrations. A large species ( total length 17 mm), the sternum is black , the abdomen 'light, greyish-yellow'. The venter carries a black patch in its anterior half.

Distribution

McKay (1985b) states 'Lake Eyre basin, N.S.W., N.T., S.A.'
