N.B. The genus Artoria was erected by Thorell (1877) with the description of Artoria parvula Thorell, 1877 fom Sulawesi (Indonesia). It was recently revised in part to contain 12 Australian species, but many undescribed species are known from Australian collections (Framenau, 2002).
