Distribution

Known from the type locality, the floodplain of the Avon River (see map, as illustrated in Framenau (2002)]. Recently recorded from South Australia (South Australian Museum NN13455-81, personal observation), in particular in the vicinity of the Flinders Ranges, and on Kangaroo Island.

 

Biology

Open areas, in particular near rocky and gravelly creeks and rivers (Framenau, 2002), but also found on sand dunes in coastal areas.
