Open, vertical burrow; frequently on well compacted soil
('arid red earth', 'desert loams'), vegetation Mulga Acacia aneura, Eucalyptus
woodlands on red loams, and sometimes Mallee or Triodia an clay-loams.
Frequently with Lycosa forresti and Lycosa storri (McKay, 1973).
