Types
- Holotype male, Innes National Park, Pondolowie Bay, Yorke Peninsula [35°14’S, 136°50’E, South Australia] 7-12 May 1984, under rock, D. Hirst (South Australian Museum, SAM NN6989).
- Paratypes: 1 male, 1 female, data as holotype (South Australian Museum, SAM NN6990-91)
- 2 paratype females of Lycosa mayama, Broadmeadows [37°41’S, 144°55’E, Victoria] (whereabouts unknown, Framenau and Vink, 2001).
